a dish im all too familiar with, so i have to ask. was crow on the menu? lol now the bird probably smells grapes from the look in the directions of the wine glasses but cant seem to figure out where they are..lol! it truly is a great picture & i agree with snapshooter. lovely ambience presented as well!

I've had to eat a lot of crow in my day, JenNay. Maybe this one lost a bet too.
Mine have been whine and dine. :)
Good shot.

The phrase "eat crow" comes to my mind when I see this. Very nice and unusual capture Marsha and a great entry for the B/W challenge.

This is a terrific capture and the b&w conversion really gives it gravitas. Monotone also gives it a more timeless quality and the scene could now be from any time, any where. The puzzle of the bird adds intrigue and forces the mind to create different scenarios, and that keeps the interest level high. A whimsical, off-the-cuff shot for you maybe, but now it has a life of its own that doesn't require explanation. I think that's the mark of a quality picture. It's self-contained and succeeds without words. Congratulations on having a camera at hand, and having the presence of mind to use it when it really mattered.

Beautiful composition as unusual to see a free bird inside rather than outside! Nice capture Marsha.

Intrigued that the bird was allowed into a restaurant!...It looks a posh place too!

Terrific detail with a monochrome

Guess who's coming to dinner, lol...this isn't the same bird as the other day is it?...I've seen many a sparrow get into our food courts in some of the large malls but never a bird like this...a timely and unique photo op and it looks fabulous in b/w...a fave for me and one I'm glad we'll see in the challenge.

Superb imagery my friend, what a unique, well spotted take. The only thing I can suggest is maybe to clone out the small dark spots on the left just above the chair. Tigs♥ =^..^=

I would guess this was a Person at one time who liked Fine Dining and was reincarnated as a Bird.

Hey, my mind works in Crazy Ways sometimes what can I say.

Good Eye for capturing this Marsha.

Extremely well done Marsha - there is a story there but like a good Hitchcock movie we don't know it yet. I read Russ' comment and it contains much wisdom.
