I added saturation to the original photo and like the sky better in this one...

A good choice Fran. I always like a little extra saturation and contrast. The colors remained soft which is good. 10/10 from me.

Fran I have tried to compared this one with the original one, but saw that the original one was already deleted from your gallery.
Can be possible as well that you didn't post the orignal one. This one however is a very fine sunset post.

A lovely view again here Fran. With the natural framing at the bottom and the little boat in the bay.

Fran, very nice colors in this one. Might I suggest trying some noise removal on your skies. What I have done is to sometimes (depends) in the image. is too select only the sky and then do noise removal, and then sometimes go and use the sharpen tool afterwards again only on the sky. You have to watch that you don't oversharpen, and too much noise removal is not good either. (especially on things like trees and other objects) Just trying to give you some tips that I have learned over the years. I hope I can be of some help. This is not knocking your work, just trying to help you out some. I like the soft and varied colors in this one. ♥:)sandi♥ =^..^=

Fran - The pastels are very pretty. As Sandi notes, when doing post-photo work, noise gets added to the photo, being seen most notably in the sky of a landscape scene. That said, you have a very lovely scene depicted in your photo. Thad

Hey Fran
One good thing about this forum is the help people will give! I think this does look great! It is a little grainy but that happens in mine as well. It kinda hard to get rid of. I love the colors and the huge expanse of water heading into the sunset.
