I took the photo at an angle to make it more dramatic. I decided to convert to black and white because this particular model Ferrari is quite old and I thought it would work better in black and white rather than colour. It has not been cropped at all. This is the whole photo.

Glad the resizing links helped, Andy.

Very good Ferrari shot, and you're right - the B&W and sharp angle both work really well. I like how a shallow depth of focus has kept your auto razor-sharp and blurred the background. Adds to the feeling of speed.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

It's a good shot and a motion creating angle. Well done.Couple of tips, though.Should always be more space in the direction of travel than at the rear of the subject, allowing the viewer some space to move into. Not always possible with a fast moving object but you can clone and increase the space in front, and/or crop the back end a bit tighter.

Job well done! Black & white was a perfect choice for this image! Thanks for sharing!

great shot. great angle and use of b/w. As snapshot pointed out, more space at the front and less at the back of a moving object is ideal, in terms of following photographic rules. But really good work though. Worth the wait!!

Hard work never killed anybody, but why take a chance?
