Beautiful composition and excellent clarity, but a little overdone on the saturation (its stripes look green instead of yellow).

Nature is amazing... and so is this image...
Althoug caterpillars are not so populair overhere, i am so amazed by their sight.
It is hard to imagine that it will become a butterfly very soon.

Great picture, so thanks for the posting.

this reminds me of a short story i read earlier today, about he US gov. spraying chemicals in Borneo for mosquitos, which also killed the wasps, which ate the cattepillars. so, when the cattepilars werent ebing killed by the wasps, they started eating the palm leaf roofs. but then flies replaced the mosquito problem, so they sprayed again to kill the flies. so, when all the flies were dead, a bunch of geckos came out and ate them, but they died too because they ate the poisoned flies. so then the cats came out to eat the dead geckos, and they died too because they ate the now poisoned geckos. so then the rat population grew because there were no cats to kill them. in the end, they had to have 14000 cats flown in to fix it all. moral of the story: dont mess with nature, it knows what its doing.

but, anyhow, didnt mean to go off on a completely unrelated tangent. its a very nice image, clear, and beautiful colours (green is one of my favourites)
