Excellent, Liam. The fog is great, and divides the photo very well.

Very nice shot. I like the tint (?); it adds to the brooding scene.

(PP: Je ne sais pas l'expression exacte, mais c'est un mouvement extraordinairement grand de l'eau au surface de l'océan. Onde de marée?)

The Tidalwave was actually a Tsunami, the earthquake of '64 started it. Railroad cars were tossed against the mountains. It was a catastrophe.

AH-HA!!! finally!!! i can make good use of all my scientific knowledge. a tidal wave is created my earthquake in the ocean. the ocean floor will split alont fault lines, and one side will be forcibly pushed up very quickly. that results in moving the water up very high, and the motion is carried along to a shore.

i'm not a very artistic person... but i do know my tectonic plates. hehehe.
very nice picture btw. i love the colors and the misty-ness of it.

Firstly, awesome pic. Making it a monotone really helps this shot. Secondly, the tsunami that this is in RE to was caused by a big chunk of land that fell into the water in that region (although yes, most are caused by earthquakes). This particular tsunami, if I'm thinking of the right region...was actually taller than the Empire State Building. *clicks off the Discovery Channel* nerdsayswhat?

I love the horizontal lines of water and vertical lines of the posts. The low clouds make the image surreal and the seagulls add to the dreaminess of the whole image. Just superb from one end to the other. KUDOS and then some. Blessings, anne
