Okay.. this is my first experiment in Photoshop .. so don't be too cruel.. acutally, go ahead and critisize away, I could use any help I could get. Anyways, I think I put a different version of this image on before... What i did was PS was take out some houses in the backround and some unwanted trees, shrubbery. Then I made it look a little redish to give it a nice sunset-feel.. anyways

I think this rather marvelous. Reminds me of a Selznick production (Gone With the Wind) sort of backdrop... Great moment and drama: one waits for the actors who will further enliven the romantic scene.

I think you did a great job here Sean! The only distraction I see is some bright white halos around the leaves on the upper right off the first branch. Regardless, it is very well done!

You can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights!

yeah, that part was originally white .. but i put that pink in there (up by the right corner leaves) .. I kind of left that little space there on purpse. I thought it looked kinda cool .. sort of like the tree was glowing, haha :)

Beautiful! I would prefer it if the whole tree was visible, so this gets a 9. Great job with the background, though!

I have no idea if you take requests...but this image would be STUNNING with some of the words from "The giving tree" in one of the corners...

Looks really cool... if you want some critical comments, though... from a long-time Photoshopper. I'm pretty sure you were using the clone stamp? When you are using that tool, becareful that you don't have the same pattern over and over because it makes it less natural looking (if that is what you are going for) and can take away from the rest of the image. Another tip, save in versions, because you never know when you want to go back or compare or you realize you went over something and you changed your mind and you want that piece back!

I really love the colors, too. :-)

I like it too, i of course prefer the non natural "fake" looking images (if thats what your going for [sound familiar?]). I like the glow the tree gives off and as for advice, dont have any. I dont know much about pictures or renders =P
