I have written you before, to tell you how much your photos move me. I lived in Hallowell as a child and seeing your pictures of Von's Woods meant so much. Now you have a photo from Tumbledown Mountain, which I recognized immediately! We spent about many, many summers in Weld Maine and hiked Tumbledown frequently. I knew the lake immediately. Isn't it amazing, almost a hidden treasure. I think that my favorite part of the hike is the Lemon Squeeze and Fat Man's Torture (I think that that is what it is called?).
Thank you for the photo!
If you ever are looking for a new hiking adventure around there message me!
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
