I'm thinking of doing elements now, with this girl. Water is my first, there should be more to come. For this manipulation I used this & this. The water image taken by Greg. You all know the drill, comments please! :)
Hate to say it, but I'm with Vicky on this one. Just a little bit creepy, just the way I like it. This girl looks as if she's trapped in a frozen lake, her hands pressed against the thin, blue layer of ice trying to find her way out. Absolutely bonechilling! Great job!..=]
I have a feeling "fire" will really creep me out! ;o Can't take away any votes from you on this one for my unsettled feeling though. The composition is quite well done. I like the water image you chose too. The only thing that doesn't seem to fit is the broken up font. The rest of the image flows and blends so well. I really like the color too.
You are definitely going places with your art, Maria. Don't ever give it up, because you can accomplish great things. I'm very envious of you being able to find your muse so early in life. I didn't find mine until I was 40.
This was done well. I think this is a wonderful image. Me, being a water sign take highly to this. Great picture. Glad that you decided to create this. Nice work.
This one is my favourite of the four. I think it's a good representation of this element. I think i would get a huge surprise if i looked in a lake and saw her staring back at me. nice work!
Hi Maria ! A very simple title for a very lovely piece. You did a really great job on this, wish I had half your skills & talent. Judging ftom your lady there, have you ever considered an Arthurian series ? She would be perfect in a more natural setting, holding a sword maybe, titled "Lady of the Lake".
Very nice job, but I do agree with some of the postings here that even though the image is beautiful, there is a disturbing quality. I think there is a sense that the girl may be trapped - not hurt or harmed, but unable to break through. This may very well be born from the mind of the beholder, and of course, that would be a valid artistic intention.
Hey Maria, awesome pic. I like it a lot, but like in the other comments it does look like she is trapped underwater. I also like it how you put the title of the picture in it. Looks more professional. Anyways I like it a lot!!!
A beautiful image. She looks like Ann Boleyn in the 1500s. The water is such a brillant blue and a nice light shade-love the white sparkles too. This is a fav for sure!
tell you what?...that i still love you? that i want to be with you for the rest of our lives and that im stupid for leaving you? well thats what i wanted to say but like i said it wont change a thing, because you love ashton and i cant leave krystalynne.
Hey Maria :) This is cool work! You're really talented with manipulations ;) This picture, and as the rest of your images are very catching! Great job on this.
