The first 'Glowing' was perfection personified, Lyn and it still graces my desktop. I like very much the placemats border you've given this already-delightful image. 10/10 for its outstanding colour, clarity and composition. Excellent!

I prefer the natural background and foliage of the first. I was truly amazed when looking back that it received such a low c-index!

Momma mia! Just can't miss that wonderful lighting with the black behind these very lovely flowers now! You did a wonderful job of isolating the blooms from their original background, which I liked also, but this one speaks loudly and says, "Look at me"! Nice work, Eve!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

This is defnitely an improvement on the first one although that was also v.good in my opinion. Looks more conspicuous now. Let us see the evaluation later :)

The original was excellent, but I believe this is an improvement. You have certainly concentrated attention on the flowers by removing the background. Nice classic framing, too.

Well, I'm torn. If I had seen this first and never seen the original (which I DID NOT receive in the voting booth, by the way) I would be duly impressed, but you see I loved the original. It had a special warmth and natural glow to it that, although this is gorgeous...I still like the first one the best ...one person's opinion :)

Wonderfull, especially because these are the most difficult colors for any camera to capture correctly.
