The treatment you gave this photo makes it look much like a period piece. Beautiful range from highlight to shadow without losing the midtones. Very nice work Eve, wonderful image!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

The Edge is the perfect description for your image, and I would not imagine a better color combination but Black and White! Great work Lyn - veeeery moody!
It is interesting that the picnic table appears to be in the sun, but the sky is so ominous that if I were there I would be running for cover. Well done with the B&W.
WOW.... Eve.. I love this... the b&w is perfect for this image.. it gives it a cold mysterious feel to it.. kind of sad.. as if its waiting for something or someone... lots of emotions in it... the composition and lighting is perfect... did I say I really really like this one.. ;) excellent work ...

I'm packing my picnic basket and coming to New Zealand. What a beautiful shot. Though perhaps a little to gray and too windy for a picnic, the beauty of the spot would be well worth the trip. Lovely shot :).......Amaris
