Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.
This is a keeper. There is such a variety of lighting in this image. It is also somewhat different from the normal perspective. Eye catching. I like it.

A friend of mine works in a camera store. The other day a very
confused looking woman approached the counter and handed my friend
a camera. She said "I took pictures, but I forgot to have film in
the camera. Can you please get them out of the camera for me?"
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Your photos are even more fantastic than usual at the moment Lyn, the New Zealand landscape really is lovely this time of year and you are capturing it so beautifully for us, thankyou:)
Well, of course by the time I get here, it's all be said. I don't know how you get this wealth of color and clarity. Someday maybe I'll figure it out...*scratches head*
I won't be uploading images until my computer comes out of its sudden death coma. I am commenting using a shared machine that doesn't have PhotoShop or my images on it. I'll let you help me tear my hair out.

Wonderful capture :) The lighting is extraordinary. The composition and angle from which you took this are both great, but the lighting is the cherry on the cake as we say in France (La cerise sur le gβteau).
Kia Ora Lyn,
(I looked up the meaning)
I just saw this in the VB Lyn. I gave it a 10. I hope I get this next bit right ;) Haere ra e hoa Lyn. If I got it wrong, I'm sorry :)

Touring Glacier National Park a couple months ago I was too late in the season to photograph and of the flower that Glacier os famous for... Bear Grass. The main feature in your excellent photo looks exactly like Bear Grass. I'm curious to know what the local NZ name is for it? I like how the fluffy blossoms mimic the clouds scudding by and the grasses below give the whole a solid base, the highlights on the stems contrasting favorably with the flowers and clouds. Very nicely done, Eve.
