Beautiful imagery LynEve!! Luv the lighting and yonder glow to really set up the main attraction of the darker rocks and fantastic birdies!!

I thought your shot of Lonely Gull was mighty impressive but this flock of gulls and that wonderful sky, outdo your previous image. Superb, Lyn!

Looks like a meeting going on - decisions will be taken soon! The harsh rocks and the calm blue sea make an ideal backdrop for the birds. Beautiful scene, very well captured.

This is lovely, Eve. The colors and contrasts are wonderful. It does look like a gull convention. I wonder what's on the agenda.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I find it interesting that there are 12 Gulls. It's a scene that I'm sure is common, but most people don't take the time to notice. Not unlike the 12 disciples and their messages. I find this very reverant with the sea and the beautiful sky. It will definitely be on my desktop.

This would be a fine shot without the birds but it's a super one with them.

Phew! I agree with Jerry and with Bob - this is a fine, "painterly" shot. I'm suspecting a touch of flash here, judging by the way the shadows of the birds' feet run, but the result is an even more splendid colour palette.

I don't normally think of gulls as being among the "cute" birds, but this image of them is just delightful. As to the other aspects of the photo, I think the other commenters have covered that ground very well.

Very much liking the colors in this ... Lovely sky and water reflection. Nice clarity when enlarged and ... I tip my hat to you Eve ... a dozen seagulls captured within and not a blur among them. That alone merits a compliment.

Gorgeous water and sky. At full view I found some of the detials esp. in the foreground lost their sharp edges a bit and some of the gulls have that "glow" around them that seems to occur with bright white subjects... esp. birds for me... it's not very noticeable but I wonder if you tried sharpening the image in any post processing app at all?

very very nice shot.. a great atmosphere as someone mentioned.. the glow looks like a feathered marquee selection from PS. maybe from a levels adjustment? not sure if it was left intentionally for looks but i think personally it would look better with them hidden... still a great work nice job.
