It was windy, the sun was hot and the glare made it difficult to see what I was snapping at, and seemed to wash out most of the colour, except for the sky. Greymouth Beach, West Coast, NZ - I think the "grey" is appropriate :) . .Thank you for viewing . . any comments are welcome and appreciated.. Panasonic DMC-FZ7

Is this done in 'Greyscale'?...looks really terrific and is a companion to the 'Mood' of the image! .. ..

Wonderful work and a super presentation!

Wow! Indeed. This is a spectacular shot Lyn! I don't know if you did any enhancements, but if you did they were well done. Nice work again.

Dramatic & more than just majestic... an awe inspiring photo. It looks like we're standing at the edge of the world.

It's photos of scenery like this that make me want to save up my pennies, just so I can see it first hand.

Lyn, suppose this is (partly) an 'against the light' image. If so, I like to say that's it's pretty hard to make a good one. To me, however, you've succeeded in doing this very well as this image creates a wonderful atmosphere.

I think this is very good, but then it has all the elements I like about photography. Shoreline, muted colours, moody skies and a nicely divided frame.
