Just one of the many views from State Highway 6 which runs the length of The South Island of NZ. There is a glimpse of it on the right of this photo, which was taken just north of Greymouth with Panasonic DM-FZ7. Thank you for viewing. All comments welcome and appreciated.

Now that's a keeper if there ever was one. Good placement of the horizon and the wavy lines formed by the waves grabs the eye and leads it right on back into the rear of the image. Like this.

Just like the M1 then. Or is it the M6 where you get lovely views like this of the canals in Birmingham? Fab shot Lyn, taken from the perfect viewpoint as always. I especially love the lines created by the waves, you timed this just right too.

A beautiful coastal shot, Lyn. I really like the fact that there are two headlands so it sets one wondering what's round the first and then the second and on and on. I agree with nigel about the waves.

Hi Lyn, the scenery is gorgeous, but the real takeaway is your wonderful eye for composition. The majority of people would make a hash out this shot and call it a day. You studied the scene and did it justice. I really enjoy long stretches of empty beach. Just the timeless beauty of nature, existing whether we're there to view it or not. My only request would be an even wider angle, maybe 16X9?
