That worked out so well, with the sun reflection hitting the water at just the right spot! Such a pretty composition. You do indeed have a great eye for what makes a good image, Eve.

Why not live a little and look at My Gallery.
One of the most breath taking captures I've seen in a long time. And I mean that literally Lyn, when I saw it I just took a deep breath & then let it out slowly.

You seem to have such an effortless eye for a composition LE. This is just beautifully done, and of a subject that is done to death on Caedes. The water looks almost viscous and the swan is so soft, delicate and drowsy looking. All round it's a masterful shot.
It's like the bird is sitting on a mirror. The stillness of the image, the subtle shading in the water, the slight inclusion of the green blades on the right and the positioning of the tiny bright spot of reflected sun, there but not overpowering, makes this exceptional. I don't think anyone here, in 2008 or now, could beat it with any other swan shot. Faved.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
i just spotted this beauty in the featured images, WOW! it sure grab my eye. this is a great shot! glad to see it in the main. so many different elements to the shot i could comment on.
back then between 2005-2008 i had a point@shoot that i didnt spend a lot of money for, it had soom amazing glass that only now i can truly appreciate its value. sure wish it still worked. i believe companies are skimping in that dept these days :(
