"Why do we love the sea? It is because it has some potent power to make us think things we like to think" ~Robert Henri . . . . . I like the varied sea colours created by the low afternoon sun and hope you may enjoy this also. Taken with Canon 450D. Thank you for viewing. Comments always welcome.

My late granddad was a seaman as well. He teached me to admire but also to fear the sea. Think, beside what Robert Henri had said, this wonderful image makes very clear why we can love the sea as well.
Very good post, Lyn.
Regards, Cornelius.

The title pretty much says it all Lyn. A fabulous capture of the waves breaking. I hope you didn't get your feet (or, more importantly, your 450D) wet!

Amazing capture of the breakers coming in and splashing on the beach, Lyn. Do you have a mat in your car - for lying down to take such shots? :)

When Sea likes a sea shot, it must be good LE. Reminds me of a mammoth waterfall. I lover the varied colors. You do good with the Canon.

Wow, I nearly jumped out the way when I saw these waves coming towards me!!! ha ha Fantastic capture you have here. I also like how you have caught the sun light on one of the waves giving a sense of depth. Well done!
