A winter view of the mountains above Lake Tekapo,MacKenzie Basin, New Zealand.
The Church of The Good Shepherd is a popular place for photographers and you can see small figure with a camera in this photo.
This area was declared an International Dark Sky Reserve in 2012, and is the largest in the world.

Very interesting to see the five different layers Lyn. The icy cliffs just above the brown earth and green trees is very unusual. A wonderfil capture!
