I am not sure what this flowering shrub/tree is. Perhaps a type of Rhododendron. It is another from Glenfalloch beside one of the meandering woodland pathways. The leaves look like rhodies

I could almost hear Johnny Ray singing "Just Walking In The Rain," when I looked at this LE.
It reminds me a little of the Dogwood bloom.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Those do like like rhododendron leaves Lyn but this flower is unusual and pretty. I agree it resembles a dogwood bloom.
