I have seen that movie but have forgotten all details. An appropriate title for this lovely image with wonderful colours, lighting and composition.

A beautiful scene to pair with this thought provoking film Lyn - Stanley Kramer was known for the types of movies that have you thinking as you leave the theater. I love how you edited this.

A great movie LE. It first introduced me to Waltzing Matilda and I have loved the song ever since.
The movie was during the Cold War and really made us think about what could happen. Especially the sad ending.
This could be the best SNATM submission this far. The song introduced the movie perfectly and the photo is perfect. It even has the dropped bomb haze in the colors. Faved. You get an Oscar for this one. 👍👍

I have learned how sacred "Waltzing Matilda" is to most Aussies. Being a movie buff I'm surprised I've never heard of this movie. Very nice view of the beach Lyn. Are those Pohutukawa trees in the distance?

By checking-out the link to the music video, I've read: "This is not a movie to watch if you're feeling low. The combination of the story, and the achingly beautiful but melancholy arrangements of "Waltzing Matilda", make for an emotional experience."

That's right. Your wonderful image emphasize this feeling however.
A great post for the SNATM theme, Lyn!
