The beautifully blue Lake Tekapo, 83 square kilometres (32 sq miles)in the MacKenzie Basin New Zealand. The blue color is caused by rock flour which comes from the glaciers, suspended in the water.
I took this photo as we sat on a bench eating a picnic lunch last week.
