Sometimes there is hesitation to post a photo and this is one of those times. I know technically and in other ways this is below par but as I like it myself I thought maybe someone else might. Or perhaps it is just one of those situations where one says 'you really had to be there to appreciate it' :)

It looks great to me LE. The sun spots and the star effect really make it popl
I suspect the grasses looked great blowing in the wind.
Being there is always the best, but this works.

Quite a 'Sparkle' you captured with this beauty...Shooting into the sun, causes all kinds of problems...but...at the right angle will give you a great picture...and this is one...And I like it!...

The only thing I would do, would be to clone out that central plant which takes your eye away from the water sunlight reflection.

I too like your picture Lyn. Cloning out the plant in the front would keep the viewers eyes focused on the su/star effect. Regardless, very dramatic and I can see why you like it so much.

That "sunstar", the hills behind and the grass in front all together make this indeed a lovely scene.

I think the tones work fine, love the sun spots, and sun star are so complimentary. tigs=^..^=

This is really lovely, what catches my eye here are the textures that one can almost feel in this scene, the grass, the water. etc. It is subtle, but that is why it is captures you.

Most times we are our harshest critics. Great shot Lyn, works well with me.

Well, as they say, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' and my eyes happen to really like this one so absolutely no need for your hesitation to post this one, Lyn...love the sun star, the tones, and overall scene...great work!

Lyn, only if there's a good reason for that, I'll provide someone with constructive comment. I don't see why I've to do this for this one because, to me, it's an excellent B&W 'against the light' composition!
