Here is a spring Tulip from NZ along with my greetings after quite a long absence. Initially I intended to take a week or so off to attend to other things but the weeks stretched out and soon I realized I was not taking any photos so had nothing to offer. Maybe if my enthusiasm returns and life becomes less busy I too will return here, and I hope I shall be welcome.
Over the years I have posted thousands of photos here. Each and every one of them was prepared specifically for this site and during that time I have made many friends and learned a lot.
Now I am recycling some of my flower photos (my first love in photography) and sharing them on another site.
As Spring has arrived down here this is a new one. Although frames over the years have been frowned upon and at times even ridiculed I think this one suits the flower.
Please enjoy my FFriday offering and I wish you all a happy weekend :)

Lyn, I'm glad you're back again, 😁 ! Hope it won't be a temporary return.
Your return is accompanied by a wonderful F² contribution.
The subtle and somewhat 'dreamy' tones of this herald of Spring (Southern hemisphere) are striking.

I always liked your frames and you were the first to point me to where I could download a program to make frames LE. I will always remember that.
This looks great in the frame and the photo and editing is superb. It's good to hear others are benefiting from your wonderful photos, but don't be a stranger to us on Caedes.
You are a much admired and respected member.
Have a good weekend.

So soft and beautiful is this bloom. I also believe in framing a photo, you want the eye on the image and a frame draws a persons eye to that. Don't forget us here at Caedes, I've always admired your work.

Oh Lyn, of course you will be welcome...you are a big part of caedes and always will be...hope you will be with us on a more regular basis soon...as for framing, I for one like framing when it is tasteful and complimentary to the image, which yours always are...this being just one example...a fabulous presentation of this lovely flower and one I must fave...take care and come back soon.

Old members can always come and go (me too) but will always be accepted/welcomed by old Caedes friends Lyn. Nice bud to start off here again.

A lovely shot Lyn and I always liked framing - I do it myself sometimes. I hope we'll still see you often here - I've missed your shots.
