This is Borage I have growing in my garden. Flowers and leaves are edible. The flowers are about 1" wide and fit nicely in ice cubes to pretty up drinks !

Some of you asked on my previous post about the Covid Tracer App we have here in New Zealand. Every public place must display their QR code and it just takes a second to scan it with the phone app. More people were diligent about using it at the start but many have become complacent and don't bother. I chose to use it - anything to make it easier to trace this hideous virus. We are so incredibly fortunate here at present with no community cases - those we have are returning residents and are placed straight into managed isolation if they test positive during the compulsory 2 week quarantine. I think we are on a knife edge and must make the most of our comparative freedom while we can. My heart is heavy that we have family and friends who are not so fortunate.
HERE is a link that explains our app

Lyn,
about the app: in my country we have a similar app with the same goal. We have people too who are hesitating about using it, but I hope that they will realize that this terrible Covid-19 (Corona) pandemic must be beaten in any way.
About the Borage image: In the past (August 2012) I've provided Caedes with this image. Think it's the same flower or a similar species.
Anyhow a wonderful capture with a perfect presentation from you again!

I think that is the same flower Cornelius. The bees absolutely love it and I believe the plants are often grown near apiaries. I tried the young leaves in a salad but I did not much like.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
