Going back through some archived photos. This was taken back in 2009. Same place as this shot Children in the Mist. In Bordeaux, France. A large expanse of water, about 2cm deep, with small vents dotted around the place. Every 20 minutes or so, fine water vapour begins streaming out of the vents. [Camera = Powershot A95 - F/7.1 - 1/500s - 38mm]

What a fabulous shot...I think I like it better than the one with the children as in this one there is only one person which added to the mist and bit of sun shining through really gives the image a lot of mood...faved.

If you stare at an orange juice container because it says, "CONCENTRATE"...you might be a redneck.
What stunning place and you caotured it perfectly with lovely focus and colour and I like the light in this photo as well.Plus the sun and it reflection on the water is amazing along with the reflection of the building as well.

Shot with a point-and-shoot? Amazingly sharp and noise-free for a non-DSLR camera--a real feather in your cap, Rich. I love how everything is soft and ethereal except the individual in the center, and how that long shaft of sunlight, streaming in between the buildings, makes a shadow of everything else. The strong contrast of blues and gold helps as well. Sure to place and quite possibly win. 8)
