Alas, this was taken last year on 8 March... Boris was 10 years old then. Just a reminder for those who feel like celebrating my baby's 11th birthday on 7 March. Yours modest, SAM & SAAB
Another Tickfree pat on the head for SAAB on his birthday, Same. He can listen to this and this. Happy Birthday to SAAB. He probably watered this and gave it the yellow center.
This sure brings a smile to my face Sam, we are expecting crappy weather. I had to laugh at Tick's comment leave it to him. This is beautiful I might also say. sas=^..^=
Wow, what a parting shot for the evening if you'll pardon the pun on such a momentous occasion as the 11th birthday of most esteemed canine agent SAAB...beautiful lighting and glow emanating from this lovely flower...and most appreciated by those of us still dreaming of such weather and its' resultant gifts of nature...Happy Birthday to Boris with hugs and great affection...faved.
Spring can't arrive soon enough for many of us - but in the interim, you have provided us with a lovely flower to lift our spirits!!! And what a beautiful flower - nicely composed and the lighting is wonderful!!! And my favorite color - purple!!! Sending Happy Birthday wishes to Boris:-):-):-)

SAM, I'm sure you know where this stands for. It's the 'doggy-language' which says that he (SAAB) is a jolly good fellow.
Hope that every Caedes friend will 'sing' along on March 7th.
Thanks for your wonderful crocus image. They are wonderful to see, and they are edible as well, but think it's wise not to tell the latter to SAAB, lol.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
That is gorgeous, SAM. Beautiful color and sunlight and clarity. Give Boris and big hug and a biscuit on his birthday, and tell him it was from fellow agent SAJ.
Ho my this is one very loveky close up with amazing natural vivid colours and spot on focus too.Imalso love the sunlight on this flower and your presentation too.
Lovely and colourful and viewing full size really shows off the wonderful contrast in colours. Never really tried photographing the flora as I'm quite often trying to photograph the bugs that are eating them! With spring imminent, I might have to step back a bit and see what happens (I'll probably fall over my camera bag and end up down a ditch...).
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
You did a great job with this! I wish I could spot flowers this beautiful in front of my house, but I guess I will only get to enjoy them on my desktop. Thanks for sharing the image, my friend!
I have no patients, I'm not a doctor. :) Wow, SAM, a great close up on this lovely bloom. Beautiful colours and nice lighting in the image. Happy Birthday SAAB! WAS
