No, I'm not trying to offend you. I was looking up a saying in the dictionary, anyway let me introduce you to the common giant clam of the Red Sea. As you can figure out by it's name it's everywhere. And yes, when you're swimming just one or two decimeters above the corals crowded with fellows like him (or her?) you are a bit nervous, and concerned about not sticking your hand in to it's mouth! ..or it.

There's no hiding from these goombahs, either, unless you are directly behind it. You see all those dark spots along the rim inside? Believe it or not but those are eyes. This shot still holds up pretty well, 15 years later.
