I think you definitely had the right idea here but just included some unnecessary elements. That partial light pole bisecting the photo is rather distracting. It could still be removed in Photoshop but the cars take away from the glass reflections as well. Perhaps removing the light pole and recropping to just above that car on the far left would change the whole character of this shot. Rubber stamping would also replace that far stop light silhouette with trees. I'm not always a fan of adjusting photos (I usually prefer the real thing) but this photo has a lot of potential. When events and images like this present themselves to you, you might consider taking a number of photos of the subject from several slightly different perspectives. I always shoot about a half-dozen or more shots that way so, later on, I can go through them and pick the one that really stands out. Today with digital cameras' media being reusable, and the cost of film and processing no longer an issue, it's easy and inexpensive to shoot the living daylights out of a subject. If you had moved enough to the left to drop the pole completely out of the view and raised the camera just a little to eliminate the cars, it would be an entirely different photo. Just a thought. (I took the liberty of trying it myself on a downloaded copy.)
No need to try and resist here! I love the colors you've captured. The light post is a little distracting though. I'm undecided about the cars being in there, I think it would probably work either way, it would just be different photos.
