I am not a pleasant pheasant plucker, nor a pheasant plucker's pleasant son, but I'll be plucking pleasant pheasants long after the pleasant pheasant plucker's pleasant son's gone.
Beautiful shot.. night shots always look great.. love the lights and reflection... the composition and colour is good... it looks a lot like Brisbane in Australia... lol.. we have a bridge almost the same with the high rise buildings behind it.. lol Great shot
stunning picture! very beautiful whit these starlike street lights and the smothly waves. also the picture partitioning is very apposite.
i like it much!
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
The thumbnails look like a pair of eyes looking through the bridge arches. The full size image is very well done and a beautiful wallpaper. Great job.

My camera takes a differnet aspect ratio then this site so my options were to chop the sides or stick something on top or the bottem. I decided that the sky blended into a black bar too much and made the bottem look silly cuz it looked like there was only a bar on the bottem, so i put the white lines to define it. Thanks for all of your comments. Im glad you all have liked it.

i love how you can still see the patterns from the standing waves in the water. the rock works well, and even those funny blurry lens flare things look awesome. was it really windy? or do you remember where you focused? cuz i think the rock is blurrier than i'd have thought it would be at f22. this had better be a top download 10/10 for sure
I think the rock you are talking about is acctually what we here in Calgary call ice. But anyways, i think it was pretty windy that night. Not supper windy but there was definitly some wind. Im not sure exactly where i focused, but im pretty sure it was probably around the middle of the bridge or right in the middle of the picture cuz i didn't move after focusing cuz i didn't think it would make much of a difference since it was proably focused to infinity anyways and it was at f/22. Also the ice might be alittle blurrier cuz i think i might have went alittle but softer then normal in the sharpening thing in the raw settings. I can't remember for sure, but i seem to remember doing that. I think this one will be making an appearnce in a frame on my wall one day when i get around to picking some for my room.

I like this shot, I believe that shots of cities should only be shot at night to see the true beauty of a city, day time isn't really interesting, at least to me, nice clear shot and nice angle of the bridge!
It is the water that makes the image. It really is spectacular! Also, the bridge looks great in that lighting. Unfortunately, their is nothing particularily interesting about the skyline. It is alright for this image, but I would love to see more of the rest of the image. Excellent job!
One question though...how do you hold the camera so still? It must be one of those image-stabalized photos...
