wow, the loneliness and darkness of the weather certainly shows here. Only thing missing is seeing the rain falling. But the mood you have set for this photo is fantastic...

The sombreness of the setting enhances the lonliness of this tree. With just the right amount of lighting from just the right angle to give a hint of contrasting hope in the branches. 10, in my favourites and to my hard drive. Thank you.

The colors and mood here are great. Personally I think the composition could be better, with the tree a bit less dominant and not so centered.

Samatar, you have an interesting perspective on it. I would have thought that it being centred would have been a good thing. What i have straight from the camera acctually has more on the left hand side but to get it to the right aspect ratio i croped that side off. I thought it would be better if it was centred and that also allowed me to elminate using a frame which for some odd reason people don't seem to like. But anyways, thanks for the comment other then nice image. It is nice to be able to get another perspective.
