I took this picture three months ago but i could never get the colors the way i wanted them. Apparently i have either imporved in my editing skills or i have become less picky as to what it needs to look like before i'll like it Either way i hope you like this one.

That piece of property would be selling for $500,000 minimum where I live. Can just hear the realtor saying that it's a house of charm and rustic abilities. Perfect for the home handyman.

That's great Milo! At first, in the thumnail, I thought you'd skewed the picture in Photoshop or something...

I LOVE the colours of this little "house"....yes someone DID care enough to prop it up. I love that you posted this. IT reminds us of the good ol' simple things in life, that they can give us a smile....thank you Milo

I think you did well with the color. The wood looks very warm...I wonder what side the prevailing wind comes from;-) Is this a grainery?

It's fantastic! What a cool looking shack. Nice detail, and you did a good job with the editing I guess...because I don't see it! Very nice.

I love it MiLo. You got the colors right, don't you worry. The wood looks really rich, and the biulding looks like you manipulated it, though knowing your work I know you did not. Great job.

What a great shot! I'm glad you got this shot while you could (I don't think it can lean much further!) I agree with Regmar, I think the colors are great, so rich and warm! This is a great eye-catcher!

Wow, i am overwellmed by all these comments. Nine in the last couple of hours is probably my new record. Thanks for all of the support. I tried to reply to most of you, but its late and i work tomorrow so hopefully you all see this. This was taken outside of calgary on a farm. I was out with d_spin_9, and we saw a cool barn that had fallen over so we went and took some shots. This was a chicken coop, i believe, that was a few feet away from the barn. It was definitly and interesting subject, so alot of the credit must go to that. I'm glad i was able to go back and make it look better since i was alittle dissipointed with what i had originally.

The only thing keeping that shack up in the pole on the right. We all need a little support from time to time. Great capture.

Just one more rain shower, or birds nest.........The colors look warm and rich to me. Beautiful light with that dark doorway and shadows from the overhang.

I have replied to both of the above in their user information, but since it has been asked twice i thought i would throw my answer in here aswell. I have a Nikon D70. If anyone is looking forf a good Digtial SLR i would definitly recomend it, or the newer D70s (which is pretty much the same thing). I can't think of anything that I don't like about it.

The Leaning Shed of Alberta versus the Leaning Tower of Pisa.. I prefer the shed! Much more tale to it. It seems like it has so many stories of human activity to tell, if only we could decipher it's language.
A great photo with a nice tune. Worth a niner.

Ain't it something that an ole broke down shed, photographed in the right manner can garner a c-index of 92? I love it. The richness of the old wood really comes through. I imagine as I write this, the "old warrior" has fallen completely over by now. Thks for capturing it for us while it was still "standing".
