*drumroll*........................ This image it NOT courtesy of NASA. Ladies and gentlemen...This "galaxy" is no galaxy at all! But a mere fractal! Rendered in Apophysis, no less! Comments, criticisms, and standing ovations all welcome.

Great job! Very nice! I've made something so similar except for the lights on the outside of the galaxy! I might upload now since this looks so great! Nice job on this!

i was looking at this again. i love galaxy clusters,and thats what this looks like. i remember looking at lots of nasa deep field images and admiring the vastness of the exposure. glad you posted this
