It's all about perspective and perception.
Wonderful work. This would make a delightful desktop - light, playful and stimulating. I like the dream-like quality this has - not the quality real dreams have (least not mine), but the quality film and television representations of them sometimes have. Reminds me of medal-award ceremonies at the Olympics and stuff - but here the gold goes to a... er... a very talented metal sphere.
