Do I dare ask what is BELOW them, under the tree? :)
This is great...a truly great capture, as I only get them soaring and sailing high above...never getting close, never coming in and resting such as this! I hope people will view this and not with disgust...as they "clean up" for us...and do only good work for all...never harming anything.


PS: wow..in retrospect...I can recall a time I tried to get a couple of these to come in closer and land. I stood with my camera for sooo long I started aching...and thought my arm was gonna fall off. Maybe that was what they were doing overhead.....{waiting for me?}

I like it. It makes those vultures seem a little more friendly- they're just sitting in a pretty tree like any other bird, not tearing some poor dead animal limb from limb. It's a little blurry, but maybe that's just because I'm blind. Good work.

These birds had just flown off of some road kill on a seldom used road! I only had a chance to get this 1 shot before they retreated farther away!

I like it also. Not your everyday type of photograph. It shows "thinking outside the box" as people say. Good Job!
