I am back in college again and this is my self-portrait for my illustration class. Learning to use Adobe Illustrator CS5! The teacher gave me a lot of feedback since he is teaching us how to use the program. Please also give me your input though and let me know how I can improve since this is my very first attempt! I do know to use a larger image size for one next time. This resolution was a limitation of my project, not by choice.

Caveats?
If I might suggest, pay a lil' more attention to the light source's direction and where it is falling. Slightly incongruous in some areas.
Still and with that said.. quite an accomplished first foray into Illustrator.
And since I am not one to waste some googlin' time.. here you go:

List of tutorials, which is a mix of Photoshop/Illustrator and a couple of other programs:
Tutorials - Digital Arts ... (I get lost in some of these pages and links. And some of the contributing artists are well-established.)
Look forward to seeing some more new works/pieces from you.
