This is a beautiful scene, except for the trash cans being there. I would have cloned them out. The lighting in this is gorgeous. I am wondering if you added the star effect to the light, or if it is natural. Very nice.
Christer, very nice. I really like how you composed the shot. Nearly black and white and then that section with the artificial light casting off its golden rays. Great use of light and shadow.
It's a great contrast to your Autumn Stroll shot...I think its the lighting in this shot that makes it stand out. I really like the blue-toned shadows against the gold-lit area in the middle of the shot. Your eye is lead right down the snowy path...great shot!!
I really enjoyed this image. The variety of light attracted and held my eye. I like the fact that two different temperatures of light happened here. They contrast very nicely.
Wow ... Christer, you captured the lighting perfectly in this night scene. The beige tones really sets it off nicely & I'm enjoying the textures as well. I feel a bit of warmth coming my way as my eyes travel down that chilly road. Excellent ... + faves.
I absolutely Love this picture. I have had it on my desktop for a couple of days now and the more I see it the more I love it. But I did clone the trash cans out first. The light, The shadows, and all that beautiful snow combine to make a truly impressive sight. Thank you.
