I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

You been getting to dang good stuff lately love!.....This is a beauty...you have certainly been working hard in those programmes to achieve these terrific 'works of art'!
I like what you are posting...keep em coming!
I know ... there is no special connection between PatAndre and ... TREES! You keep right on telling yourself that. Meanwhile, just keep posting these tree shots my Belle because this is a dandy. Don't know how much of this is post adjustment but I love the color here. The silver-grays and fall shades are dazzling. Composition here is first-rate and the clarity is flawless right down to all those fine limbs in the background. Nope ... no special connection between you and trees ... other than the passion you have for them which your camera seems to understand so very well.

I bet you knew I'd like this. I see what you meant with a prior comment about us being drawn to the same things. These trees are fantastic and your capture of them is very unique and dramatic. Excellent work.
As all have said, Pat, it's wonderfully taken and beautiful to behold. I've got to try RAW mode. I finally found a plugin for it for PS so I'm off to try all that again. You get such great results with it, my friend.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I just love the muted tones of this shot Pat. So few colours; yet they couldn't have produced a more perfect image. Your patience certainly paid off to catch the right conditions. Onto the HD with this one.
Cheers,
Steve.

You have a knack (and patience apparently) for capturing the real beauty in trees. I can look at your images over and over, their simple beauty is so enjoyable. The composition and colors in this are what I like best! Thanks Diane
it's absolutely beautiful.
When I saw it, I thought of it as a summary of Autumn. Not too sunny, not too dark, and all the right colors. You did a beautiful job. I'm jealous. :)
