NOTICE: THIS IMAGE IS NOT TO BE POSTED ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE. Progress! Don't ya love it? This house and the woods are all gone now-ripped apart so that a well know brand name store for farm supplies could be erected. This was located inside the city limits so I knew it's days were numbered. I'll have to remember it via the picture.

You stirred a lot of memories with this photo Owd Momma. First there was this song which has Tony the Tiger on it and there is this story about the singer/songwriter.
It is great when a photo can do that. Wonderful post and I am sure every old house has a story all its own.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.

A beautiful shot, Pat, and wonderful framing. Old, abandoned houses are such melancholy subjects, but they often make great photos, like this one. I'm glad you were able to get this picture. I love the fall colors and the vertical lines made by the small trees in front. Well done!
