What a great sky! Makes you want to just sit and stare. The gold and yellow hues give it just the right punch.

One can see that the clouds are rather low and that means bad weather. But the colourful ground below is in sharp contrast to the menacing clouds above.

You must have put some rock salt in your shotgun Owd Momma. The rain clouds look like they might swallow you and the shotgun.
A beautiful scene.

I've heard of stratus, cirrus and cumulous, but never rambunctious! They are gorgeous though and absolutely overwhelming.

The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn't it be? - it is the same the angels breathe. ~Mark Twain,

Simply Gorgeous Momma:)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Wow! I love the rain-laden clouds and the contrast between the dark-gray sky and the bright, yellow-green grass. I'll bet you could smell the approaching rain. A nicely composed and dramatic landscape, Pat. Well done!
