This was taken in Sept of 2009 with the Canon 50D. Found this spider on one of my flowers around the house. Anybody know what it is? Finally had the cataract removed on my right eye and am recovering from that so not much posting for awhile.

I wish you well through your recovery Owd Momma. I bet the spider has aged a lot since this was taken. He shows up well against the pink background.

eeeeuw! I wonder if he set himself up there because aphids were trying to eat your lovely roses. He sure is brilliant and stands out agains the rosey rose. Glad to hear your eye surgery was successful. I thought of you yesterday when they put drops in my eyes for glaucoma testing.

To me it's a Green Lynx Spider (Peucetia viridans), Momma, coming from North Carolina and spending its vacation in Louisiana, lol.
