How fortunate you are to live by the shore. The shades of blue in this are amazing. Almost as varied as the greens of spring. I like this one a lot.

This is so very beautiful!. I used to live by the North Sea, if you are talking about the one by the west coast of Germany. I was just a child when I lived there. Now I live by the Pacific Ocean. You captured the water and sky just perfectly!! Keep up with those pics. I would LOVE to see more of them!!

Do you live by the North Sea? I lived in Lueneburg for many years. But have never gone back...if yoiu are anywhere near there, please take more photos, I would love to see them. thank you....

I was in a hurry the other day - so I downloaded your wonderful photo, but didn't have time to vote and comment. Nice work. High marks from me. I like the fact you didn't put your horizon line dead center in the photo, but lower down - balancing the beautiful sky with the darker water.

This certainly captures the winter light wonderfully well. If the sea were all brightly lit, I think the photo would be much less effective...but the way it darkens and merges in to the darker clouds at the horizon conveys the winter experience.
