The trainer throws the fish toward the dolphin, which opens it's mouth in anticipation of a good performance reward. The fish is in mid air when suddenly, to the astonishment of the crowd and the dolphin....the fish is snatched away in another great performance. And I happened to pull the trigger, fast like Lucky Luke... Well I guess the seagull deserved it in the end.

Great capture, Paul, lucky and a good shot! I wonder how many times this dolphin has lost his meal to this pirate. He has the look of "oh no, not again!"

Cool shot, Paul. My family and I were at SeaWorld in California watching the dolphin performance. A seagull was using his ingenuity to open the cooler where the trainer kept all the dolphin rewards. It's amazing how smart those birds are. Unknown to the seagull, the dolphins had noticed what he was doing, and were slowly circling around the pool to get closer. When the dolphins were close enough, they all simultaneously blew jets of water at the seagull, knocking him off the cooler. And then, I swear, they laughed. I've never seen anything like it.

What a great capture.. Seagulls are notorious for thevery.. I have had them steal a sandwich out of my hand..
