I really love this photo. My only critique is the child behind the boy - they distract more than help the image, I think. But, I love your composition and the colors as well, and it's rare that I find a "people" shot that I enjoy =) Faves.
Gosh, my baby toes never survive this kind of "trip." Shoes aren't my thing either so, it's off to the sit but swing high swings for me. Nice capture. Good clarity in the rope design.
Awesome shot. Your going to have some awesome kid shots to look back to when this guy is older. (I'm assuming he is yours?) On an artistic side i agree with Digital Angel's comment. I also think this would have been a cool opertunity to use the depth of field alittle more. If the ropes were blured out a bit in the forground i think it woud look all that much cooloer. With that said the compostion is still amazing, and this is one to be proud of.
