A fallen leaf of an elm-tree has been turned to gold when the season comes to an end and the sun comes out to cast it's magic spell of fall.

The colours are magic indeed ... I think that a group of Fall Fans established on Caedes might be successful throughout a year long LOL

Another well done image Paul. I like that we can see the leaf's season is nearly over yet, still holding on to that golden magic. You have captured it with a lovely Fall background. I think this is my new desktop for the weekend! Thank you :~)

That golden leaf looks marvellous on it's own but set with those red flowers and the whole image really lights up...glorious color and clarity...excellent work, Paul...top marks.:Pat.

Incredible !!! Just gorgeous....seriously, there are just not enough superlatives to describe this picture. Of course I gave it a 10, I apologize cuz I couldn't do more. Tho' I did put on my desk top & into my favs !!! Excellent work, well done.

simply beautiful
i love the tiny bit of sheen on the top side of the gold leaf
the white fringing works amazingly well
and the depth of colour in the purple with the subtle details is so peaceful

the whole thing shines like a diamond in a cave that no one has disturbed for eons
