I just returned from a weekend trip to Terschelling, one of the islands north of Holland. Everybody over there seemed to be happy, people were kind and smiling, and even the horses seemed to laugh at me. If this photo cheers you up, let me know and I will show you another.

superbly framed and the graduated blue background together with its overall soft textures gives it a strangely synthetic look which only adds to the already weird pose given by the horse the use of a slightly wider angle lens further emphasises its uniqueness
