Pigeon!???? That hardly seems fair for such a gorgeous bird to be a pigeon, eh? Acyaully...I like the pesky pigeons, but it seems this pretty baby should be in a peacock family!

It's a 'Blue tit' something like what we have here!....It is a corker of a picture Paul.....stunning colours, and brilliantly taken.....it reminds me of a 'peacock' that has lost most of it's colour

The detail here is exquisite Paul. I love the tuft on the top of the bird's head and I cannot believe that this bird allowed you to get that near to them! The color is amazing. I think I shall name the the BLoo Pigeon! It has its very own beautiul crown on..wow..I love that birdie...its soooooooo pretty...looks like a little Princess...oh yes, maybe A Bloo Princess Pigeon..lol...just lovely you were able to get this unusual photo Paul...muuahhh! for the photographer!!

This is a masterpiece... Sharp and clear. i wonder what settings of the camera did you use? It seems the bird must have frozen for a second or so, lol. Outstanding piece, goes right to my favourite gallery.

What a gorgeous combination of the blue gray and red eyes. Great clarity lets us examine those soft crown feathers closely. A royal pigeon indeed

A pigeon? Are you serious? Not that I have anything against pigeons, but this in no ordinary pigeon. This is one of the most beautifully colored birds I've ever seen...wonderfully captured image.
