This is a digital photo I shot today of a analog dia slide from 1994! I used a macro lens with 4 x enlargement on top of my 55 mm zoom lens. That way I could make this digital photo of that 12 year old slide. I wonder if you think the quality is good enough to post here. I think I can make it better if I have some more daylight available. Anyway, this is the campground in Zion N.P. where I stayed a couple of days in 1994. What a place! I still remember that when I walked through that field, it was teeming with life: bugs, birds, and lizards jumped at each foot step set in the grass. Hope you like this!

What a majestic looking place. You can get a feel of just how large these mountains are by the gentleman you managed to get in this photo also. The trees framing each side are a plus also in this. I really like it Paul- I think it's fine just as is. Eileen

Great shot. I don't know if my eyes deceive me, but the other image reproduced in the same manner looked much better quality wise. Looks over sharpened or something. Did you shoot them both at the same distance from the slide?

This one really came out good. Most of my old stuff was done with print film. The prints have fadded and the negatives in a shoebox somewhere.

The emotions, the tears, of wasted years, wash over me like a cold wind out of the north. I tremble and shake, with each breath i take, and there's no one around me that cares. Dwight.

I think it's pretty nice as is. Any more would be overkill. I would try to tone down the sharpness just a hair.

Ahh. Now you're in my countryside. I live only 30 miles from this spot for a number of years. Lovely place. The quality of your slide conversion is quite impressive. Nice work.
