This is another digital photo I shot today of a analog dia slide, this time from France in 1998! One of my favourite slides in my archive. I used a lamp to light up the slide (with some paper to make it diffuse). It's not perfect but let me know if this is good enough to dig up some more slides! Maybe the sun will come out one of these days and I can have a better backlight for the slides and produce a better quality.

Now that's alot of hay!. The flaxen color on the rolled hay is gorgeous!. Another buried treasure you've found Paul. Keep looking!

Shot from a slide, no scanning? Interesting. Looking good. Both in respect of the original shot and the reproduction technique. There are some small artefacts that you no doubt would get, using a scanner too. They could perhaps be retouched for a perfection of the result. It's a classic photo and well executed. (It's on my to do list. ^_^)

I think it turned out pretty good. I look at my stuff from the 80s now and wonder why I even kept it. I wasn't very good.

Absolutely excellent! Everything works together well in this shot, I especially like the soft touch of pink in the sky. Great job Paul!

I think this and the picture of Zion are really great and you have developed a good method of digitizing your old slides. A couple of specks of dust could be corrected.

Well, I think it is a great image Paul. I do notice an off color, almost bleached, area in the center. There is a bit off dust showing. The colors look good and the clarity is good also.

This is a wonderfully composed image Paul. I do see a few spots in the sky as well as a pinkish color that appears to be artifact? in the sky just above the horizon. The hay bales look so neat all lined up. They are shiny and that makes this image very appealing to the viewers eye. Thanks for you hard work :~)

Hey there Pal...Oooh, I like this one..you have manged a terrific job of it....This is the kind of picture that I like to take!...Lying in fields to capture the hay-bails from close-up, Would you believe, that there are still some fields here that the bails have not be 'collected' and stored, just lying there in all weathers!..some with snow lying on the top of them!!!....Now, there's an idea!..where's my camera!......see you Bob

Lovely shot, Paul. My wife grew up in similar countryside here in the USA. This shot would please her.
