Nice silhouette! The weather in Netherland is really better than in Belgium... :-/

Nice sihlouette with the sun behind the windmill. I missed all the windmills when I visited Holland.

The silhouettes are beautiful! Reminds me of those windmills in Holland, Michigan. I like the sunset also. Nice pic!

Haha, great capture Paul. I love that aura that you have created around the windmill. The AD is brought to the now with the jet trail. What is the purpose of the wheel down low on the right?

I love your sepia and gold toned shots but I'm glad you went with this one in color. The sillhouette looks fabulous against the blue and I like where you put the sun, it leaves a glow of white around the outline.

Hi Paul. This one is a stunning silhoutte. U have placed the sun at the correct spot to bring light and darkness in good balance.

It’s a beautiful photo all right. However I think the little bit of water looks out of place. I love the colours, silhouette and I especially like the aura round the mill… that makes it look so dramatic.

Hello Paul...One of the most dramatic techniques of light and photography is the silhouette. ...You have captured the dramatic outlines of your subject beautifully...Well done....All the best...Mick.

I think you shot it in silhouette so that we couldn't see the wear and tear that kind of age brings with it ... next .. you're going to try and sell it to us

as I said once before .. I grew up listening to stories of the windmills and the boys plugging leaks in the dike systems with their fingers .. ;o) .. my ancestors were Dutch on my mother's side .. supposedly founded New Amsterdam \ New York .. they seemed to have left me out of the will though .. :o( .. if you could get that straightened out I'd appreciate it

1637 AD with a contrail in the sky? Fast birds breathing hard? Ha! On the other hand, title aside, this is a wonderful shot. Very nice picture - loved it.

A strong image featuring a powerful composition. I really enjoy the various patterns (blades, staircase, etc.) protruding out of the dark mass. Terrific capture.
