Hi friends! I have some projects I need to get done, so I won't be able to visit Caedes as often as I would like. Appreciate you all very much, and will try to comment as much as possible.

Oh Paul! What a gorgeous photo! Not only the fact that you were able to "capture" this dragonfly....but the colours and clarity are amazing! I see dragonflies flitting around my yard now and then, and they never seem to sit still long enough for a pic. You must have to wait a long long time, relaxing, dreaming etc...to get a shot like this. Thanx Luv!..V
Hey there mate...great detailed shot of the 'water-juffa' ie water-lady!!! and thanks for the little idea as to what to call! my 'lady' friends now?....'Juffa' eh!
In any language this is an awsome capture. The sharpness and exposure is very well done and the composition is very nice also. Wonderful image that I would be proud to have taken myself. Bravo!

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Incredible pin sharp dragonfly! I guess such a clarity can be achieved only with a decent SLR and good lens. I once tried to capture some dragonflies - spent an hour making some strange poses but haven't ended up with a single good photo.
Supurb clarity down to the lace wings and sensing hairs on the body. And you couldn't ask for it to have stopped in a more even toned setting. Some creatures just look too impossible to work... makes them facinating.
Hi Paul, just seen this on 'featured images' and just had to comment. This is an amazing macro, you did extremely well to be able to get that close. I know how hard it is - dragonflies are my speciality and I've only recently gone into digital with only a compact [Nikon Coolpix 4500] for now. Into my faves with this one.
Just one point, on ID not photography, I think this may be a C. puella rather than pulchellum. Solid thoracic stripes, 'U' marking without a 'stem' and different markings to segments 9/10.
But this doesn't detract from a cracking capture. 11/10.
Cheers,
Steve.
