What a great old car! It was just slightly before my time but I remember the still being around when I was growing up! Thats when they actually put metal into cars! Good shot!
Paul - We still have these things being driven daily around here due to our dry, rust free climate. Nice self portrait of the artist reflected in the center bezel.
Hey Paul, are you in NY by chance? I went to a classic car show last weekend and saw a very similar Studebaker. What a beauty! I love the shapes and characters of the older vehicles. Quite a number of which are making comebacks in some way, such as the Mustang GT. Nice shot!

Excellent shot Paul. Great perspective, color and contrast. Love it and I do love the big ol' cars. They just don't make 'em with this kind of character anymore. I mean come on, what's with the Scion or that big boxy looking thing from Honda? Sorry, I digress. This is one great shot. I gave it a 10. anne :-)
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

This was when cars had faces. As designers start to see some sucess with some of the new models that have retro touches you'd think that they would figure out that this is what we're looking for, not just another car shaped like an egg. And the Studebaker had a hundred high tech touches ahead of their time.
Wowzer Paul!! look at that great lookin' Studebaker!!
It's a gorgeous red...and cars used to have real class. Too bad now they just pop out copies one after the other, clones so to speak...where they all begin to look the same. Thank you for posting such a lovely front end view...looks grrrrreat! (and by the way, how are YOU my dear?!) Verena
